Out of respect for the court, it is best if all attendees are dressed in a simple, modest, and formal attire.

To obtain certified copies of trial records/proceedings, case records, or final orders, an application must be submitted to the Registry. You must provide the correct case number and the specific dates of the proceedings you require. Fees will be charged based on the number of pages requested.

Fines imposed by the Magistrate's Court or the Traffic Court must be paid at the designated cashier counter located within the court premises. In addition, fines can also be paid using your bank cards (credit/debit) at the designated counter within the court premises. Alternatively, payments can be made directly to the bank, and you can produce the original bank payment slip to the counter on the same day. Details of the bank account should be obtained from the respective counter.

The court number is usually mentioned on your summons or in case number. If you are not certain about it, you can provide your case number to the Main Registry (Phone: 011 243 4350) for guidance and direction to the correct courtroom (e.g., Court 02, 03, 08).
