Event Date: July 31, 2026. This is to inform the legal fraternity, litigants, and the general public that the official website of the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court will be officially launched on Friday, July 31, 2026. This digital initiative aims to enhance judicial transparency, streamline court administration, and improve access to justice.
Key Features of the Portal:
•Daily Cause Lists: View updated court schedules and hearing dates online. (under constructions)
•Case Status Tracking: Check case progression and procedural status. (under constructions)
•Public Announcements: Access to legal notices, circulars, and court guidelines.
•General Information: Guidelines on court procedures, registry contacts, and operating hours.

The website URL and relevant details for members of the bar will be published following the official inauguration ceremony.

උත්සව දිනය: 2026 ජූලි 31. කොළඹ ප්‍රධාන මහේස්ත්‍රාත් අධිකරණයේ නිල වෙබ් අඩවිය 2026 ජූලි 31 වන සිකුරාදා දින නිල වශයෙන් දියත් කෙරෙන බව නීතිඥ ප්‍රජාව සහ මහජනතාව වෙත මෙයින් දැනුම් දෙනු ලැබේ. අධිකරණ පාරදෘශ්‍යභාවය වැඩිදියුණු කිරීම, අධිකරණ පරිපාලනය විධිමත් කිරීම සහ යුක්තිය පසිඳලීමේ ක්‍රියාවලිය වෙත ප්‍රවේශය වැඩිදියුණු කිරීම මෙම ඩිජිටල් පියවරේ අරමුණයි.
මෙම ද්වාරයේ (Portal) ප්‍රධාන අංග:
•දෛනික නඩු ලැයිස්තු (Daily Cause Lists): යාවත්කාලීන කරන ලද අධිකරණ කාලසටහන් සහ නඩු විභාග වන දිනයන් අන්තර්ජාලය හරහා බැලීමේ පහසුකම. (යාවත්කාලීන වෙමින් පවතී)
•නඩුවේ තත්ත්වය පිරික්සුම (Case Status Tracking): නඩුවේ ප්‍රගතිය සහ ක්‍රියාපටිපාටිමය තත්ත්වය පරීක්ෂා කිරීම. (යාවත්කාලීන වෙමින් පවතී)
•මහජන නිවේදන: නෛතික නිවේදන, චක්‍රලේඛ සහ අධිකරණ මාර්ගෝපදේශ වෙත ප්‍රවේශ වීම.
•සාමාන්‍ය තොරතුරු: අධිකරණ ක්‍රියාපටිපාටි, ලේඛකාධිකාරී කාර්යාලයේ සම්බන්ධතා සහ සේවා කාලයන් පිළිබඳ මාර්ගෝපදේශ.

වෙබ් අඩවියේ සබැඳිය (URL) සහ නීතිඥ මණ්ඩලයේ සාමාජිකයින් සඳහා වන අදාළ තොරතුරු නිල සමාරම්භක උත්සවයෙන් පසුව ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කරනු ලැබේ.

NOTICE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC & LEGAL PROFESSION CREDIT AND DEBIT CARD PAYMENT FACILITIES Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court - මහජනතාව සහ නීතිඥ ප්‍රජාව වෙත දැනුම්දීමයි ක්‍රෙඩිට් සහ ඩෙබිට් කාඩ්පත් මගින් ගෙවීම් කිරීමේ පහසුකම කොළඹ ප්‍රධාන මහේස්ත්‍රාත් අධිකරණය

The public and members of the legal fraternity are hereby informed that, the Credit and Debit Card payment facilities are available for all court-related payments.
Key Details of the Service:
•Scope of Facility: Card payments are now accepted for all categories of payments, including court fines, bail deposits, certified copy fees, and other statutory fees payable at the court registry.
•Accepted Payment Cards: Visa, Mastercard, and major Sri Lankan debit/credit cards.
•Location: Dedicated counters for each court operates as card payment terminals.
•Traditional Options: Cash payment counters will continue to function as usual alongside the card payment service.
This digital initiative aims to provide greater convenience, security, and transparency for litigants and legal practitioners by reducing the need to carry cash for court transactions.

අධිකරණයට සම්බන්ධ සියලුම ගෙවීම් සඳහා ක්‍රෙඩිට් (Credit) සහ ඩෙබිට් (Debit) කාඩ්පත් මගින් ගෙවීම් කිරීමේ පහසුකම දැන් ලබාගත හැකි බව මහජනතාව වෙත සහ නීතිඥ ප්‍රජාව වෙත මෙයින් දැනුම් දෙනු ලැබේ.
සේවාවේ ප්‍රධාන තොරතුරු:
•පහසුකම හිමිවන ගෙවීම් සීමාවන්: අධිකරණ දඩ මුදල්, ඇප තැන්පතු, සහතික පිටපත් ලබාගැනීමේ ගාස්තු සහ අධිකරණ කාර්යාලයට ගෙවිය යුතු වෙනත් සියලුම ව්‍යවස්ථාපිත ගාස්තු ඇතුළුව සියලුම ආකාරයේ ගෙවීම් සඳහා දැන් කාඩ්පත් මගින් ගෙවීම් භාරගනු ලැබේ.
•පිළිගන්නා ගෙවීම් කාඩ්පත්: Visa, Mastercard සහ ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ප්‍රමුඛ පෙළේ ඩෙබිට්/ක්‍රෙඩිට් කාඩ්පත්.
•ස්ථානය: සෑම අධිකරණයක් සඳහාම වෙන් කරන ලද විශේෂ කවුන්ටර කාඩ්පත් ගෙවීම් පර්යන්ත (Card Payment Terminals) ලෙස ක්‍රියාත්මක වේ.
•සාම්ප්‍රදායික ගෙවීම් ක්‍රම: කාඩ්පත් ගෙවීම් සේවාවට අමතරව සාමාන්‍ය මුදල් (Cash) ගෙවීම් කවුන්ටර ද වෙනදා මෙන් පවත්වාගෙන යනු ලැබේ.
අධිකරණ කටයුතු සඳහා පැමිණෙන ජනතාවට සහ නීතිඥවරුන්ට මුදල් ළඟ තබා ගැනීමේ අවශ්‍යතාව අවම කරමින්, වඩාත් පහසුව, ආරක්ෂාව සහ පාරදෘශ්‍යභාවය ලබා දීම මෙම ඩිජිටල් පියවරේ ප්‍රධාන අරමුණයි.

Notice is hereby given regarding the Court Vacation period from **10 August 2026 to 16 August 2026**. During this period, court sittings and registry operations will be conducted in accordance with the vacation arrangements. Any urgent or emergency matters will be attended to by the Duty Judge.
